Anyone having issues lately (seems to have started over the past week) with some of your old gifs not moving anymore? I’ve been through my whole gif tag, and some have just randomly become still. Re-uploading seems to fix but a) it’s a pain in the arse and b) all the reblogs will have stopped moving too. The weird thing is it seems to be location/server based? For example a set that has a frozen gif for me doesn’t for Riss in America.
I’ve reported it for what it’s worth - which is probably not a great deal because I’ll probably just get some lame cookie-cutter response pulled out of someone’s ass - but I’m just curious as to how many people it’s affecting.
@staff are you going to acknowledge this issue, like, at all? There’s little point even making new gifsets atm, when old shit that’s worked fine for christ knows how long just randomly stops moving. Sort it the fuck out.

I read that too. I swear WB are in a constant state of damage control. As for him joining Marvel, I’d rather he didn’t. Nothing against him but he’s so associated with DC at this point it would just be weird and would lead to flame wars between the two fanbases. Besides, who would he even play?
That rumor is nothing but baseless nonsense said by a guy who’s got a track record of disliking the DCEU and, besides, you all laughed when he was cast as Batman and bring up his role as Daredevil (Which he was actually quite good in) as a punchline so trying to welcome him in would just be plain hypocritical.

My source at WB, my uncle’s best friend’s ex wife’s brother in law’s second cousin, tells me that Henry Cavill will be taking over the part of Batman in addition to playing Superman. He’s also taking over the role of his father Jonathan Kent who’s been revived from the dead and will become Darkseid.

Celebrities react to the director of Last Tango in Paris admitting that the rape scene in the film was real. The actress, Maria Schneider was 19 and raped by a 48 year old Marlon Brando. Bertolucci, the director, said that he wanted to film Schneider’s reaction to the rape as a person, not an actress. The scene wasn’t in the script and Schneider wasn’t told that it was added in. She passed away in 2011. Bertolucci is still alive.
It’s my understanding that Brando came up with the idea, and I hope people won’t forget that just because Brando’s dead.
I don’t see how the two of them could do what they did to her without completely disrespecting Schneider as a human, a woman, and an actress. If they’d respected her in the slightest, she’d have been told about the change and given a chance to refuse. That is the only possible ethical approach to adding a sex scene into a movie at the last minute.
Did they really think it would compromise the integrity of their film if she was only *pretending* to feel violated? Ninety nine percent of what an actor does is pretending, even a “method” actor like Brando. But they thought so little of Schneider that they felt justified in assaulting her, just for that extra ounce of realism. Like she wasn’t even a person, to say nothing of being a partner in a creative effort.

Right on time. Marvel reminds us that Captain Marvel is still definitely a movie that is happening at some point right after WB announced Gotham City Sirens. Funny how this always happens.
